hybrid car tax rebate

I want to know if there is a tax rebate for purchasing a hybrid car in California if so where do I go for it?

I also wanted to know where to go for solar panel rebates. I'm trying to go green but need some assistance in my quest.

I don't know about the solar panels, but to get a tax rebate for a hybrid car you need to first make sure it's eligible for one.

Currently, no Toyota or Lexus hybrids qualify for Federal tax rebates. Only Ford, Nissan, Honda and GM hybrids still qualify: http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/tax_hybrid.shtml

To claim a Federal Tax Credit if your hybrid qualifies for one, you need to file a Form 8910 with your 1040 Income Tax Return.
